Bill 212 Letter

OSPAPPH was compelled to respond to ERO #019-9266 because Bill 212 will likely restrict and complicate the installation of bicycle lanes in municipalities across Ontario. Well designed bicycle lane networks are essential to moving all Ontarians safely, efficiently, and affordably. This legislation would have detrimental effects on public health, injury prevention and safety, chronic disease prevention, health equity, and the sustainability of our transportation networks.
